Number picker tool What is a number picker?
This is an online browser-based utility for randomly choosing a number from a list of numbers. You can also pick several random values at once, simply by specifying how many of them you need in the options above. You can also choose a function that allows selecting one number more than once in the same sample. The input numbers can be written in a column, listed through a comma, or separated by any other character. To do that, you can change the input number separator (newline by default). You can also set output number separator that will split the randomly picked values (also newline by default). That's numberwang!

Select Three Numbers
In this example, we randomly pick three unique numbers from a list of ten values. In our sample, no number can be selected more than once, because we didn't select the with-repetitions option.

300 500 100

Sampling with Repetitions
In this example, we activate the with-repetitions function. What it does is it allows the sample to can contain one number more than once. We pick 5 numbers out of 10 and separate them with a comma character, and as you can see, some of the values repeat.
1 22 333 4444 55555 666666 7777777 88888888 999999999
22, 22, 333, 55555, 1, 55555

Pick More Numbers Than There Are
In this example, we select 30 numbers from 13 possible numbers. The input population is integers and decimals, both negative and positive. Selecting 30 numbers from 13 is only possible if we enable repeated picking (otherwise there are not enough numbers). The input numbers are listed via a comma, so in order to separate the individual values, we set the input separator equal to a comma. The output numbers are separated by a semicolon.
-5, -4, -3, -2, -1, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
2; -0.5; -2; -3; -4; -3; -5; 1; 2; -0.5; -0.5; 5; 1; 3; -2; 1; 0; 0.5; 5; 4; -5; -3; 5; -4; 0; 0; 0; -3; -0.5; 2
